Customer Expectations
Their wish was to respect the classic spirit of the building, bringing a touch of rusticity to match the village environment of their house. They absolutely did not want contemporary aluminum furniture, but on the contrary wooden furniture to bring warmth and breathe a country spirit. The aim was therefore to offer furniture that met their expectations and respected the character of the building and its environment.
Our Approach
We therefore suggested that they work with the GOMMAIRE collection, in aged teak, to bring that sought-after warm touch. The terraces are spread over 2 separate areas in the property, connected to each other by a path. The living room is located in front of the main building, composed of a corner lounge, a set of nesting tables and completed with mobile round poufs echoing the color of the brick of the building. The summer dining room is located in front of a small annex which contains a spare kitchen and a bar, and is made up of a large table which can accommodate up to 12 guests, surrounded by teak and woven rope armchairs.
The Final Result
The common thread found throughout the different terraces allowed us to create a harmonious, friendly and warm ensemble. The customers were able to find the touch of rusticity they were looking for, offering a relaxed setting to their exterior. All the furniture set up for this project comes from Gommaire, Manutti poufs, Vincent Sheppard lamps and rugs from Limited Edition.
