Customer Expectations
Located in the centre of Brussels, this 2-storey urban loft, designed by an architect in a former industrial building, is a real eye-catcher. The young, childless couple loved to entertain and wanted to be able to easily accommodate their many friends for an aperitif or dinner out.
Our Approach
For this project, the aim was to counter the cold, industrial character of the building by using teak furniture on the various terraces. We wanted to bring in that bohemian-chic spirit, combining comfort with a relaxed feel.
The Final Result
For the main terrace, the choice fell on a teak reception room with sofas and armchairs and a large dining table for up to 12 people, combining lacquered aluminium and teak. This is complemented by an Ofyr brazier/plancha for even more conviviality.
For the smaller, more intimate terrace adjoining the indoor living room, reserved for meals for 2 or 3, we’ve proposed a round table framed by boldly designed armchairs.
Finally, for the large terrace overlooking the whole loft, part of which is sheltered by a pergola to provide protection from the sun’s rays, a large corner sofa was the obvious choice.
The furniture was designed in a bohemian-chic style, with a fringed outdoor rug, colourful fabrics, patterned cushions, poufs, etc.
The furniture used for this project comes from the following brands: Manutti, Royal Botania, Jardinico, Fast, PDJ, Ofyr.
