Appartment in the Green

Customer Expectations

This beautiful ground-floor flat in a new contemporary building in Woluwé is occupied by a couple without children. The building was constructed on a very green site with fairly quiet surroundings. This couple wanted to design their terrace in harmony with the building’s white and bronze colour scheme. They liked the idea of using a mix of blackened teak and natural teak furniture. It would warm up the building’s pure architecture and echo the surrounding nature.

Our Approach

Based on this request, we came up with a set of furniture with a pure, timeless design, as the customers didn’t want furniture that was too contemporary. To ensure a visual link between the different areas of the terraces, which are closely linked, we mixed 2 collections for each terrace. The outdoor seating area is topped by an outdoor heater that doubles as a lamp, allowing customers to enjoy their terrace all year round, making it a true extension of the indoor living area.

The Final Result

With this proposal, we succeeded in seducing our customers while meeting their expectations. The result is a sober, elegant design for the terraces that nevertheless has character and cachet.
